Nightclub promotions using Social Media on the Las Vegas Strip was one of many topics discussed with the infamous Schnitzer brothers on the latest episode of The Social Media Show. Sam Dever and Asia Jade sit down with the Chicago based trio to discuss Social Media, how they ended up in Las Vegas, their occupations on the Las Vegas Strip and even their work with coaching the Spring Valley lacrosse team. The interview was shot at two different times with Sam Dever interviewing David and Neal while Asia interviewed Bryan.
The Schnitzer brother pilgrimage to Sin City began when older brother Neal joined his childhood friend to start a business pizza business. After living in Vegas for about a year a then contacted younger brother David (youngest of the three) to come join him after college. David committed to this new opportunity without hesitation and soon after the two recruited the middle brother Bryan with the promise of a master bedroom. The three amigos were set.
Host Sam Dever dove into what Neal and David do out in Las Vegas in the beginning of their interview. Both work on the Las Vegas Strip in the nightlife industry. Neal is the head promotions manager for Tao Group which encompasses Tao Nightclub, Tao Beach, LAVO, Marquee Nightclub and Marquee Day Club. Neal credits Social Media for being a big part of what he does in the promotions business. He mentioned how Facebook was a pivotal tool in the beginning of his career because it helped him organize all of the contacts he was meeting which in the nightlife business can be overwhelming with a constant flood of new people coming into each night.
The interview then transitions to Asia Jade where her and Bryan discuss his occupation out in Vegas. Bryan told Jade he is a production coordinator at Caesar’s palace which means he is the middle man between the production companies and the casino. He recently worked on the set with the highly anticipated movie “Think Like A Man 2.” Bryan actually caught wind of his current job all through a Facebook post his brother David tagged him in when someone put the position out on Social Media. In addition, Bryan is also a free lance photographer with his own photography Bryan Marc Photography.
Once again, then interview flipped back to Sam Dever where youngest brother David explained his marketing role at the Wynn with Las Vegas Nightlife Group which oversees operations for Surrender Nightclub, Encore Beach Club and the extremely popular Las Vegas Strip dining spot Andrea’s. David has been with The Wynn ever since former Las Vegas hot spot Blush Nightclub was in existence which Dever, David and Neal reminisce on during the interview. David went on to point out the tremendous growth of the company which now boasts over 400 employees compared to the 30 he started working with a little over four years ago. He also credited Social Media on being a huge part of what he does using Twitter and Instagram to capture moments from employees, DJ’s and club attendees to further market their brand.
The interviews continue with the brothers describing their relationship with each other and how important it has been to stick together out in Vegas for all of these years. The trio actually had the opportunity to work together at the Wynn for a couple years which all three describe as an amazing experience. Aside from nightlife, the brothers also give back to the community by helping and coaching high school kids in lacrosse.
The Schnitzer brothers are truly a one of a kind story out in Las Vegas and more importantly they are incredible people with good hearts who represent themselves in the highest of class.
