Marketing Expert Reveals Social Media Secrets – Charity Faith Interview – Episdode 11
Charity Faith is the latest guest on the Las Vegas Social Media Show. Ms. Faith is a party promoter and independent V.I.P host. If you’re in Las Vegas and looking to have a fun and exciting night out on the Strip, Charity is the person you need to contact. Ms. Faith recently discovered in the past few years working as a promoter that she really has a brain that is targeted towards marketing. “I found a lot of fulfillment in helping businesses of people express themselves and brand themselves.” When working with a business, Ms. Faith tries to portray what the business wants and not what she views it as needing.
Ms. Faith was mostly unaware of any culture or sense of community here in Las Vegas. Anytime she wanted to find “culture and fulfillment” she would go to Los Angeles or Sedona. However, that has changed with the discovery of Downtown and First Fridays. First Friday is a gathering where you can find art, music, and all kinds of people displaying their many and unique talents. Many gatherings have had over 20,000 attendees, and that number is growing. Ms. Faith is now on the First Friday committee, and will be using her experience to help shape the event for years to come.
Charity is extremely active on most social media sites, but Facebook is used most often. “Facebook is really the hub of everything that I do,” said Ms. Faith. Not too many hours go by during the day where Ms. Faith doesn’t post some kind of status update or picture. She was also recently nominated as a “nightlife hero” at Haze Nightclub in Aria. Ms. Faith used the prize money she won that night for bringing in the most people to donate to her friend who was raising money for St. Baldrick’s.
Charity also posts many pictures of herself in unique outfits online. Ms. Faith started doing this at time when she needed a confidence boost, and after posting a few pictures online, the feedback she received was very positive. She said her goal isn’t to show off, but to show businesses how they can use social media for marketing their products.
Ms. Faith lastly discussed a new app, SOVO, which stands for social voice. This app allows users to record their voice and tweet it or share it with their followers. The idea actually originated in Las Vegas. Ms. Faith feels that this would be a tremendous app for musicians and singers to use for them to record a few lines per day and share with their followers.
In 2013, Ms. Faith is looking to continue to be happy and portray a positive image to all of her followers.
